War Pass, winner of the 2007 Breeders' Cup Juvenile, will miss the $2 million Kentucky Derby with a leg fracture, trainer Nick Zito said on the Derby's website.

The colt has a small fracture in his left front ankle and will recuperate during the summer, Zito said.

War Pass, winner of the Eclipse Award as outstanding two-year-old last year, was undefeated in five starts before finishing seventh in the March 15 Tampa Bay Derby and second in the Wood Memorial Stakes at Aqueduct in New York on April 5.
